Many smegheads, including myself, want to believe that this special never happened. Yeah, it was really that bad!

What do the rest of you think? Be brutal, be brutal!

The only part I found vaguely interesting is Craig Charles meeting Dave Lister in the pub.

Otherwise I would agree it pretty much sucked. (And I am very patient and understanding with writers and actors.)

Saw this on YouTube the other day. It wasn't bad.

Interesting that the Rimmer seen here seems to be the original, not the one that nanobots created.

Well, nearly ten years has passed for the Red Dwarf crew, time we didn't see. The original Rimmer could have returned during that time (I read that Doug Naylor claimed that is exactly what happened).

Okay, so what the smeg happened to the nanobot created Rimmer. The last we saw of him, he kicked the Grim Reaper in the crotch and took off.

The nanobots could have made a holo Rimmer based on the one they created when restoring the ship, combined with copies of the other versions.

Good an explanation as any, Rog.

However, Doug Naylor did say this was the original Rimmer.
