Personally, I think that the worst episode was "Meltdown". I think my favourite is "Polymorph". Lister's post-absorbtion ramblings always crack me up.

My favorite episode was Quarantine, and I'm not just saying that because Mr. Flibble would be very cross if I didn't. This episode had a bizarre mix of creepiness and goofiness.

"Dimension Jump" has always been my favourite. I never dreamed until then that I could ever get a crush on Rimmer!!

Agreed on both counts. That is, except for the rocket launch sequence in "Dimension Jump". Did anyone else think that the wire was going to snap at any minute?

I liked "Back to Reality", "White Hole", "Cassandra", and "Pete, part 2". My least favorites include "Confidence and Paranoia" and "Beyond a Joke".

Speaking of Mr. Flibble, all the links to Mr. Flibble's Playground lead to some weird site that's in Spanish. Did it move?

the last two novels were ok, but I think they lacked the easy with of Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers and Better than Life.

Polymorph is one of, if not THE all time classic. A poll in the long lamented Red Dwarf Smegazine revealed that Back to Reality was the best (Series VI was the most current at that time), but I still preferred Polymorph.

A couple of Season 5's episodes left me cold though.

Looks like we're all going to have our favourites and not favourites.
