Be more detailed-Frawley played Bub O'Casey for the first five seasons of "My Three Sons", while it was on ABC. It moved to CBS in 1965 and ran seven more years. He was also the political adviser to the judge in the original "Miracle on 34th Street."
Really?? Sorry, I was looking for more detailed information on William Frawley, but I had to settle for what I found.
Wasn't he in THE FIGHTING SEEBEES with John Wayne,
or was that another actor?
A search on http://us.imdb.com/ for 'The Fighting Seabees' (with an A) comes up with his name.
He played in Charlie Chaplin's "Monseuir Verdoux" (pardon my French spelling) which is an excellent black comedy that has really, really gotten better with age. I recommend it very highly.
