Van Johnson is one of the few stars who manages to come out of an encounter with Lucy unscathed.

Since when did Carolyn Appleby wear glasses? In all her previous appearances, she didn't wear any. Maybe she had contact lenses before this? Then again, neither Lucy or Ethel seem all that surprised about Carolyn having glasses.

Lucy having stage fright?!? No, seriously. How many times before this ep has Lucy appeared live on stage at Ricky's club? More over, Our Favorite Redhead has appeared three times on television. Twice in "The Million Dollar Idea" and of course, in the classic, "Lucy Does a TV Commercial". So the whole idea of Lucy suddenly getting stage fright doesn't ring true to me.
