After being gassed by the Others, Kate finds herself dumped in the jungle and handcuffed to Juliet. They make their way back to the Barracks, but things won't be so easy for them. In flashback, a familiar face helps Kate contact her mother.

On the beach, Sawyer tries to make amends when Hurley informs him that he might be banished.

Kate backstory VI

Notes:
-Kate met Cassidy, Sawyer's former flame from The Long Con.
-Locke has left with the Others while Juliet has apparently been shunned
-The fence that the Others use is able to keep the monster out
-According to Juliet, the Others don't know what the monster is

Unanswered Questions: Has Locke joined the Others? What happened after he saw his father? Where have the Others gone? Where has Rousseau gone? What were the flashes as the monster approached Juliet and Kate? Are they related to Eko's flashes?

"Welcome to the wonderful world of not knowing what the hell is going on."

Well now that about says it all, doesn't it?

Kind of a marking-time episode, huh?

By Kevin (Kevin) on Thursday, April 05, 2007 - 5:44 am:

First episode in a long time in which (I think) all the principle players appeared. And I'm guessing they'll actually be reunited soon.

Reunited and it feels so good
Reunited 'cause we understood

So The Others don't know what the smoke monster is either, huh?

Unless you count Ben as a principal player.

And if you count the archive footage last week, everyone did appear then.

Great line: "Just for today they can eat boar, laugh, and forget that they're totally screwed."

But why couldn't the smoke monster just go over the fence like the Losties did? It isn't that high, and the monster's been known to leave pilots way up in treetops.

By Kevin (Kevin) on Saturday, April 07, 2007 - 4:48 pm:

So Kate, Jack and, presumably, Julliette were gassed. Julliette woke up long enough before Kate that she could carry her out into the forest without her waking up. They get chased by the smoke monster and spend the entire night outside. The next morning, they return to the suburb and Jack is *still* unconscious?

By ScottN on Saturday, April 07, 2007 - 5:20 pm:

Are the Lostaways going to move to the "suburbs" now?

By Art Vandelay on Thursday, April 12, 2007 - 1:59 am:

Was Jack gassed? It looked more like he'd been in a fight from the state of his house.
