The return of Kate, Sayid, and especially Jack to the beach camp is cause for celebration. The presence of Juliet, however, arouses suspicion and animosity. Things get worse when Claire gets sick.

In flashback, Juliet comes to the island.

Juliet backstory II

Notes:
-It seems that pregnancies conceived on the island do not end well. Juliet was brought to address this issue.
-Juliet had a relationship with Goodwin
-It seems that the Others have a lot of faith in the as yet unseen Jacob
-The reason for Juliet's tears in A Tale of Two Cities is shown.
-The Others put some kind of implant into Claire.
-There were 324 passengers aboard Flight 815
-Juliet knows about Sawyer's murder of Frank Duckett
-Mikhail was the Others' apparent line to the outside world as well as the receiver to all information. His paranoia was apparently not an act
-The title One of Us complements the title of Benry's first appearance One of Them.

Unanswered Questions: Why do the Others have so much faith in Jacob? Was anything Juliet said the truth? Did Ben tell Juliet the truth about Rachel's cancer? Why is Juliet spending a week in the Lostaway camp? How do the Others know about Frank Duckett? Why can no one who conceives on the island give birth there as well? What horrible thing did Sayid do in Basra?

Juliet Backstory.

The flashback scene at the end is great!

Is there a reason Jack, Kate, nor Sayid have even proposed moving into the abandoned Others village?

And I may have missed it, but was anyone curious to where Locke was? He left with Kate and Sayid, shouldn't the other Lostaways wonder where he is?

I wonder if the Others somehow found out about Sawyer's killing of Duckett through Hibbs (the guy that gave Saywer the job). Either that, or they put it together themselves after Duckett was inevitably discovered dead.

I asked that on last weeks, too.

And I may have missed it, but was anyone curious to where Locke was?

They asked. Jack said "He's with them."

Even if the village is tainted (not literally) by being connected with The Others, surely it's a hell of a lot better than where they are.

I really don't know what to think of Juliet, she seems one of the more sympathetic of the Others, and then you see something like this plan.
