Locke's camp comes under attack while Jack has his own mystery to solve when a body washes up to shore. In the future, Ben may have a new recruit in his war with Charles Widmore.

Ben (and Sayid) episode II (flash forward)

Notes:
-After leaving the island, Sayid reunited and married Nadia, only for her to be killed, possibly by one of Widmore's men. It's this reason that he agrees to work with Ben, as seen in The Economist
-At least three of Locke's Losties are killed by Widmore's mercenaries. Keamy also executes Alex for Ben to see.
-Ben has yet another secret door behind the secret room in his house, of seemingly older origin than the house. Where this leads is unknown.
-Ben apparently knows what the Monster is, and he summons and/or controls it to attack the mercenaries.
-Ben ends up in or near Tunisia in a parka, the same country the skeleton of the DHARMA bear was discovered in Confirmed Dead.
-Ben's flash forward begins in late October 2005.
-Bernard knows Morse code.
-Daniel confirms to Jack that the freighter never intended to rescue Flight 815's survivors.
-Ben vows to Widmore that he will kill Penny.
-Lostaway Count: 36 at most

Unanswered Questions:
Who killed the doctor and why? How did Ben end up in the Sahara in a parka? What is behind the stone door in Ben's house? How did Ben bring or direct the monster to kill the mercenaries? Why is Ben confident that Widmore won't find the Island again?

At the 3/4 mark, not even done yet, and all I can say is....

...oh...

...my...

...god...................

Seriously, horrible things, yet I can't look away.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!! Highlight to read:

At the beginning, as Locke, Sawyer, and Hurley are engaged in a struggle for world domination in a furious game of Risk, the phone in Locke's cabin rings and the voice says, "Code 14J." This is, of course, because Alex keyed in a special code at the fence control panel, one which did lower the sonic fence but also transmitted an alert signal via the phone system.

When Locke & Sawyer burst into Ben's cabin and tell him what's happened, he freaks out. He pulls a pump-semiautomatic shotgun and I immediately thought, "Ohhhh-kayyyyy, this is all a ruse, phone call and all, by Ben, to escape. He'll spin them a load of manure about being in trouble and they won't question him running out of the room with the gun." But before I could finish the thought, Ben tosses the gun to Sawyer! I realized at once that Ben was telling the truth about the attack, or at least the chances of it being a ruse were a heck of a lot less.

Also, anybody else wonder if Rousseau really isn't dead?

Oh. My. God. Holy COW. What a friggin' episode. I can't believe it's over. I wanted more.

Why would Rousseau not be dead?

No freakin' kidding.

I don't recall her being hit in a vital area. She could still be around.

Oh yeah.

By Kevin (Kevin) on Saturday, April 26, 2008 - 5:24 pm:

Here's my latest theory. Ben can't kill Widbore because Widmore's been to the island and can't die any more than Michael and (presumably) the others who have made it off can. Widmore is a lot older than we realise and is a survivor of the Black Rock. He found a way off the island years ago, made it back to civilisation, but regretted it as everybody does. He's spent the intervening years establishing himself in the business world and amassing the wealth necessary to find the island again, including crashing a plane filled with already-dead bodies, etc.

By Kevin (Kevin) on Saturday, April 26, 2008 - 5:31 pm:

Earlier this season when the ship fired the rockets, they arrived considerably later. This dead body, however, also coming from the ship to the island, arrived earlier. The time difference must shift around quite a bit.

Well, so much for Rousseau and Karl possibly being alive.
