Sick of being an Other prisoner and bitter about losing Juliet, Sawyer flees the Temple and Kate convinces the Others that she can find him and bring him back.

At the Temple, the Others investigate Sayid's resurrection and are not happy with what they find.

Flashing sideways, Kate's own flight has her come across a very pregnant Claire, which leads to a few complications.

Notes:
-Surprisingly, a Kate episode
-Continuing Lost's trend of an episode title occasionally echoing another, this one is a callback to the Season 2 episode What Kate Did.
-Claire makes her first appearance on the island since Cabin Fever.
-Dogen believes Sayid is infected with some darkness that has already claimed Claire
-Claire has set up a series of jungle traps, Rousseau-style
-In the alternate timeline, Ethan Rom grew up raised by his mother at least, became a doctor much as he did in the original universe, and lives in L.A.
-Sawyer planned to propose to Juliet
-John Hawkes is the latest "Deadwood" alum to guest on this show.

Unanswered questions: Is Sayid really infected with something? If so, what? What has infected Claire? Is it the black smoke/man in black?

Disappointing; everyone seemed very unlikeable this time around. And Claire actually bonding with the woman who had just held her at gunpoint, accepting a ride from her, etc.? Rang about as false as false can ring, for me.

Reminded me of Adrift in that it all seemed so pointless.
