An ultimatum from Widmore causes the man in black to speed up his plans to assault Widmore's people. Sawyer has his own ideas, though.

In the other reality, the Lostaways paths begin to cross with Kate in James' custody, James and Miles on Sayid's trail, and Claire finding herself part of an unexpected meeting.

Notes:
-Sun and Jin are reunited after three years! Woohoo!!!
-The Man in Black claims that it was him who appeared as Christian Shephard to Jack back in White Rabbit and likely him in all subsequent appearances.
-MiB acquired the Elizabeth at some point. Sawyer uses it to take the Lostaways to Hydra Island.
-For some reason, sideways-Sun is freaked out by sideways-Locke
-In the other timeline, Ilana is a lawyer working in Los Angeles
-Numbers sighting: Ilana's office is on the 15th floor.

Unanswered Questions: What did Sayid do with Desmond? Why did Widmore go back on his deal with Sawyer? Why was sideways-Sun afraid of Locke? Has she seen the other timeline?

Darn, no new episode next week. Looks like we're waiting until May.

Apparently, Jack doesn't quite remember the events of three years ago. In this episode, he claims to have chased his father on the third day after the crash. In White Rabbit, though, Jack makes a speech saying they've been there for six days.

Could that speech have happened three days after the incident with his father?

Looking back, his comment actually comes at the beginning of the episode, before he follows Christian into the jungle. It's probably just him estimating. Three years is hard to remember when exactly specific events occurred.

Something someone else mentioned, though, was that the timeline for Sun and Locke getting to the hospital at the same time seems off. Sun apparently gets shot within a couple of days of landing. In Everybody Loves Hugo, Desmond says that he and Hurley were on the same plane about a week before. If he hit Locke later, Locke shouldn't be in the hospital until days after Sun gets there.

Unless Desmond hit Locke before meeting with Hurley.

Kind of rambling here... but back in Jughead, we saw that Widmore was an Other, and somewhere else, I think we saw he was the leader of the Others (pre-Ben).

Granted, Widmore has come across as pretty nasty the whole time, but I'm wondering:

1) How much of that was a personal vendetta against Ben, and
2) Given that he was a high ranking other, he's got to know about the MiB's nature. Since he appears to be in opposition to the MiB, is he actually a good guy?

His speech to Desmond Happily Ever After certainly implied that he had altruistic means. Then again, maybe neither are really that good.
