NANJAO. The movie was originally three episodes of the Rocky Jones, Space Ranger TV show (1954) edited into one movie.

Tom says that this is the worst movie, which seems odd to me. Yeah it was slow and repetitive at times, and the writing could have been better, but it didn't seem out of the ordinary for a show of that vintage.

Cheap way to make a movie. Just slap three episodes of an obscure television show together.

Unlike the other TV episodes slapped together into a movie, Rocky Jones was a serial in the manner of Doctor Who. As a result, we get a single cohesive storyline instead of two unrelated and awkwardly stitched together episodes.
