According to some rumours I've heard floating around, this is a definate possibility. Word has it that prior cast members will have everything from a cameo to an important role in the movie. Also, it's said that an Oscar winner (unnamed) is interested in appearing in the film too. The movie they'd rip is not decided, but here's a small being bantied about;
Star Trek V
Titanic
Rollerball
Mission: Impossible
Battlefield Earth
Carrie
I would really love them to do the uncut version of Lynch's Dune.

"I'll get you, my pretty, and your little composer, too."
Oh, YES! 'Battlefield Earth'!
But it'd probably never happen...I understand that Travolta remains convinced he made a masterpiece.
I don't think Paramount would let any of the 'Star Trek' movies appear either, what with it being their flagship franchise for UPN and all...not to mention a new series in the works.
And 'Titanic' isn't really MST3K material. Sure, a lot of the dialogue's dopey - but I really can't see the 'bots cracking wise amid 1503 people graphically losing their lives.
If they need a high-profile film, I'd go for more of an acknowledged bomb, like 'Heaven's Gate' or the Demi Moore 'Scarlet Letter'. Or how 'bout one of those outlandishly plotted action epics they've been making lately - 'Face/Off' for instance?
Joe Don Baker probably still thinks that Mitchell is a masterpiece, so I don't think they'd care about destroying Travolta's illusions. I still think it should be the Lynch Dune, as it has the elements of a MST3K movie. Hard to follow storyline, some iffy acting, dodgy special effects (though I still think that the training mek was cool), a pretty boy teenage hero played by an adult, and all the rest.
I would love for them to do Mission To Mars, or Mission Impossible II.
Any time Cruise kicks someone: Flip kick!
More suggestions:
Masters of the Universe
The Black Hole
The Fantastic Planet
The first Ator film
Tomb of the Cybermen
MacCauley's (sp?) Gold
Ice Pirates
More suggestions:
Starship Troopers
Red Planet
The first Peter Cushing Doctor Who movie
The Battlestar: Galactica pilot movie
Fantastic Voyage
A couple more suggestions:
Billy the Kid Vs. Dracula
Lord of the Rings
Waterworld
Ice Castles
The Blob (late 80's remake)
Needful Things
Mars Needs Women
Twisted Brain (a hilarously bad mid-seventies slasher flick that I happened to catch on late nite TV once way back when I was in the eighth grade)
The original The Blob would probably also be a good choice.
Also, there's this movie my dad told me about called The Cloud that when he watched it as a kid, he thought it was scary. But thinking back, was probably MST3K material.
From the it'll-never-happen-but-oh-don't-I-wish dept.: Any one of those drippy eighties 'disease of the week' tv movies. (Or any one of the three versions of the 'Amy Fisher Story'...)
Unfortunatly, the "Long Island Lolita" and the iced tea are all people think about when they hear "Long Island." Shame.
Moon Zero Two (1969)
Proof that Hammer should have stayed making horror movies !
Oops, It Was MiSTed.
But in My defence, The Sci-Fi Channel in the U.K never showed the early or later seasons, so I thought it was a viable candidate For MISTing !
