Atention Nitpickers! We're up and Running Again!

By Keith Alan Morgan (Kmorgan) on Wednesday, August 30, 2000 - 12:17 am:

Congratulations.

Thanks for leaving JARSO closed. Reopening it would cheapen the dignified ending it had.

However, some of the other boards are still set to Moderator Only posting. If you can't change that, you might want to contact Phil.

By Wes Collins (Wcollins) on Wednesday, August 30, 2000 - 2:33 pm:

Thanks for the kind words Keith
I wasn't really paying much attention to that, as I really didn't look. I'l find them and give the public what they need! A good Bath!

By Anonymous on Sunday, September 03, 2000 - 11:16 am:

This is the moderator speaking about Deon Wells and his moronic infomercial:
Go away Deon Wells, and take your earnings with you! I'm sorry I didn't see this before! You and your swadling clothes, I swear to god.

By ScottN on Sunday, September 03, 2000 - 4:16 pm:

MODERATOR!!!! PLEASE REMOVE ILLEGAL PYRAMID SCHEME SPAM FROM HERE. THANK YOU!!!!!

By kerriem. on Friday, September 15, 2000 - 8:54 pm:

And while we're at it, could you do something about the, ah, creative new conversation topic in the Kitchen Sink of Love? Thanks.

By Wes Collins (Wcollins) on Saturday, September 16, 2000 - 10:02 am:

Hmmm.... If I were going to Fantasy Island, i think i'd find something better to do there.

By Keith Alan Morgan (Kmorgan) on Friday, October 20, 2000 - 12:46 am:

Internal Server errors keep me from posting to the Misc. TV MiSTings board in the Kitchen Sink of Love.

By Wes Collins (Wcollins) on Friday, October 20, 2000 - 9:33 pm:

Oh bah humbug! My great plan didn't work. I'll contact Phil, and see what he has to say.

By Wes Collins (Wcollins) on Friday, October 20, 2000 - 9:37 pm:

Oh, it did work. I got an internal server error, but my message on Newly Added Part 2 went through. Huh.

By Keith Alan Morgan (Kmorgan) on Saturday, October 21, 2000 - 8:58 pm:

Thanks, Wes.

By Goodbye Nitcentral on Friday, November 03, 2000 - 10:42 pm:

THE END...

Down down down...
Rise from the ashes, nitcentral!

By NOT the end on Saturday, November 04, 2000 - 1:13 pm:

This is NOT the end, my only friend.

By A hopeful nitpicker on Monday, November 06, 2000 - 2:28 pm:

Sniff.

By Dazed and befuddled on Saturday, November 11, 2000 - 11:37 pm:

Just testing to see if still down

Duh.

By Jet Jaguar on Saturday, November 11, 2000 - 11:38 pm:

Hey, guys and gals...the board is working again!
Yippy skippy!

I go now.

By Padawan on Sunday, December 31, 2000 - 7:10 am:

Is anyone going to post on Port Mike?

By Anonymous on Monday, January 08, 2001 - 3:18 pm:

Does anyone know which season "The Horror of the Party Beach" is in? You know, the one with the song "Sodium" by Mike and the bots?

By Matt Pesti on Monday, January 08, 2001 - 8:54 pm:

Hey You left up your suggestion. It's in the Suggestion Box. I'm taking a copy for blackmail. Ha ha.

By Wes Collins (Wcollins) on Wednesday, January 10, 2001 - 2:13 pm:

I just don't want to bother deleting it. What's the point? I actually get a kick out of the fac that people jumped on, albeit for a very short while, to thinking that I was trying to overthrow Phil or satr my own nitpicking website. The way I see it it's like someone stating the fact that they hate "The Magical Mystery Tour," but that they love "Sgt. Pepper's Lonley Hearts Club Band," then someone walks up tou that person, spits in their face and says something to the effect of, "Well then let's burn ALL our beatles albums you ignorant f*ck! I'd like to see you do better!" I find this somewhat humorous.

By L Boogie on Saturday, January 20, 2001 - 10:02 pm:

I am the eggman....

Seriously, everyone has their own opinion. You don't have to agree, but respect it. When opinions differ, conflict arises. I for one like the post experimentation Beatles albums (Rubber Soul and on) and think Abbey Rd is the best played straight through. Now, Radiohead, don't get me started...

Wes, cool site by the way!!

By Wes Collins (Wcollins) on Sunday, January 21, 2001 - 5:59 pm:

I wish I could accept your compliments, L Boogie, sadly excepting a few minor adjustments, I have done nothing in terms of crating this particualr site. That credit goes to Mr. Ben Jackson.

By L Boogie on Monday, January 22, 2001 - 3:22 pm:

oops, sorry. Well, thanks to Ben for creating the site and to Wes for his involvement with help maintaining it and anyone else I forgot to mention.

that's much better!!

By Padawan on Sunday, March 04, 2001 - 2:18 pm:

Hey, Wes, I think Port Mike needs a new board, we're up to c. 120k!

By kerriem. on Monday, March 05, 2001 - 7:28 pm:

Ummm...if I may respectfully enquire (:))...what happened to the discussion threads for the shorts and host segments in the Kitchen Sink of Love? Aren't they fairly relevant to the MST3K discussion?

By Josh M on Friday, March 16, 2001 - 8:50 pm:

Can anyone tell me what Gypsy says during robot roll call? I've never been able to figure it out.

By Spornan on Friday, March 16, 2001 - 9:19 pm:

I believe she says, "Oh my Stars"

check out http://www.mst3kinfo.com/

It has pretty much all the information you could ever want about the show.

By Nawdle on Sunday, April 22, 2001 - 12:56 am:

Well, I double posted in Port Mike (I think it's my first double post here at Nitcentral). First my incorrect post and then my corrected post. I thought I had hit cancel in time on the first one. Guess I didn't. :(

By Merat on Sunday, June 10, 2001 - 2:56 pm:

I have a question. I watched an episode entitled,I think, "The Magic Voyage of Sinbad" but I can't find it here. Either I am blind (very possible) or its not been put up. Please help me.

By Wes Collins (Wcollins) on Sunday, June 10, 2001 - 8:04 pm:

Bad news, you're blind. It is, indeed here. You have no idea how i scrambled for my episode guide and frantically searched the board until I found it. It's episode 505.

By Merat on Monday, June 11, 2001 - 5:29 am:

Thanks!

By Merat on Monday, June 11, 2001 - 5:29 am:

Well, I already knew I was blind. My vision is 20/250 :)

By KAM on Tuesday, September 25, 2001 - 1:48 am:

Wes! How about a MiSTing board for Enterprise? (There is one for the other Star Treks.)

By Anonymous on Tuesday, September 25, 2001 - 12:09 pm:

oh, no, not another series of "Phlox" jokes...

By KAM on Monday, May 20, 2002 - 5:48 am:

How about a MiSTing board for Star Wars Episode II Attack Of The Clones? (The other four movies have them.)

By KAM on Friday, August 02, 2002 - 4:41 am:

Wes, I created a MiSTing board for Episode II. It's in the Kitchen Sink of Love. Could you move it to the MiSTings folder when you get a chance?

By KAM on Monday, October 21, 2002 - 5:00 am:

Not sure where to put this, but I thought it was a funny ref to MST3K.

By KAM on Sunday, November 10, 2002 - 5:45 am:

MST3Keen

Haven't looked at all of them yet, but there are some broken links, some links don't lead to the right page & some seem to have decided against participating.

By KAM on Thursday, April 17, 2003 - 5:15 am:

Wes Collins? Hello. Are you still here?

The Enterprise MiSTing board is at a 100k and the MiSTing board for Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones still hasn't been moved to the MiSTing section.

By KAM on Wednesday, August 06, 2003 - 3:52 am:

The MiSTing: Movies board is a 133k.

Does anyone know what happened to Wes?

By Callie, the new MST3K moderator - if perhaps only temporarily on Monday, November 10, 2003 - 6:18 am:

As Wes appears to have gone long-term AWOL, I asked Phil if he would let me take over the MST3K pages, mainly so that new pages can be set up in the Sink when current ones get too long. I’ll be doing this in the next few hours or days but it would be helpful if someone who can get a count on pages (which I can’t) could give me a heads-up on which pages are over 100K.

Thank you muchly!

By Snick on Monday, November 10, 2003 - 10:20 am:

In the Sink,

MiSTings: Misc. TV: Part 2: AVOIDING INTERNAL SERVER ERRORS AT ALL COSTS

MiSTings: Movies

MiSTings: Enterprise

are all over 100k. Mistings: TOS and Mistings: TNG are getting close.

By Callie on Monday, November 10, 2003 - 12:08 pm:

Thanks, Snick. I'll get going on this right away. Oh, and I've also noted KAM's comment about SW:II-AOTC being in the wrong place and will shift it shortly.

By Callie on Monday, November 10, 2003 - 1:48 pm:

And zif by magic, a couple of hours of hard graft and I think it’s all done and dusted. If you spot any problems as you travel the board, let me know.

You may all bow down before me now. Mwahahahahahahahahaha!

(Oh yeah – should I change the “Enterprise” board to “Star Trek: Enterprise” and shift it up to below Voyager? Being a humble Brit with only terrestrial television (and so only on season 2) I’m not sure whether it’s officially had the ST tag put on the front yet.)

By kerriem on Monday, November 10, 2003 - 5:53 pm:

[folds hastily a la Mike and the bots in the movie] Bowing, sir!:)

Seriously, well met, Moderator ma'am. It'll be nice to see the old board get a dusting off.

By ScottN on Monday, November 10, 2003 - 6:38 pm:

Callie, do I need to bring out the nishta again? :)

By KAM on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 - 3:05 am:

*Bows down*

Oh, thank you, Oh, Mighty Moderator!

(Hmmm, does this make you The Moderator of Love or The Mads Moderator?)

I think Enterprise should be moved up.

Unfortunately TPTB have decided to stick the Star Trek name on Enterprise starting with the third episode of the third season. (I don't know why since the show has nothing to do with Star Trek.) Personally I'd just leave it as Enterprise, but I'm not the Moderator.

By KAM on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 - 1:36 am:

Some of the posts on this thread could probably be deleted, like the posts saying such & such a board is over a 100k.

By Snick on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 - 7:48 am:

Hey, I'm proud of that post! *sniff*

By KAM on Thursday, November 13, 2003 - 12:45 am:

I was thinking more of mine, where I was telling Wes that this board or that board was up to a 100k or so.

Also there are some posts up there that reference the carsh of Nitcentral in 2000, but don't really have any explanation to go with them. I only know what they are talking about because I was there then, but somebody who doesn't know might wonder what the posters were smoking.

By ScottN on Thursday, November 13, 2003 - 9:09 am:

I often refer to the Great Collapsing Hrung NitCentral Disaster of Betelgeuse VII 2000.

By Snick on Thursday, November 13, 2003 - 10:30 am:

Actually, I'd like those posts on the GCND to stay there, sort of provide a time-frame for when events like that happened.

Of course, I have all of Nitcentral (as of 8/18/03) archived locally, but still...

By Callie on Thursday, November 13, 2003 - 12:58 pm:

I was thinking of taking down some of the posts here but as some posters have expressed interest in them staying, I think I’ll leave them up. If this page gets too long and cumbersome, I’ll set up a sub-page/archive page with older posts on it. So don’t worry, Snick, your post is safe with me. :-)

Dunno about the “Mads Moderator”, Keith – perhaps the “Mad Moderator” ;-)

Scott – as nishta only works the once, you had your only chance ...

And kerrie, it seems strange that only about three years ago I’d never even heard of MST3K and now I’m running (or more correctly, caretaking) the show’s board!

By IX on Friday, November 14, 2003 - 6:36 am:

I, however, never refer to the GCND so that I can avoid a question whose answer I cannot give

By Callie on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 - 10:54 am:

NOTICE FOR KAM (in particular):

So how did I spend my Christmas Eve? Setting up a new Doctor Who board in the MSTings section, that's what, and then transferring all the MSTings from Doctor Who episodes across from the Miscellaneous TV section to the new section!

To make it tidier and to remove all the now unnecessary "Doctor Who" headers, I copied out the appropriate posts, reformatted them and then posted them back into the new board. Currently the old posts are still in the Misc. TV section as well. With time, I may delete out all those that don't also contain MSTings from other shows.

Now to defrost the turkey ...

By KAM on Sunday, December 28, 2003 - 4:18 am:

Thanks.

I may delete out all those that don't also contain MSTings from other shows.
It is possible to edit those posts and remove the Doctor Who parts leaving the MiSTings for other shows.

Now to defrost the turkey
Thanks, I was freezing my tail off. ;-)

By Call on Friday, February 18, 2005 - 2:28 am:

Sorry, guys - I'll get these Authentication Error things deleted when I can but I'm up to my eyes at work at the moment.

What the hell is causing them?!

By Callie, who can’t even spell her own name right at the moment ... on Friday, February 18, 2005 - 3:47 am:

Never mind - I found out. It's a spambot trying to persuade you to visit a zillion different online casinos.

By ScottN on Friday, February 18, 2005 - 8:55 am:

Callie, it's not trying to get *us* to visit them, it's trying to raise their google rankings with bogus links.
