Plot Suggestions for if MST3K came back on the air.

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Kitchen Sink of Love: Plot Suggestions for if MST3K came back on the air.

Even if MST3K wouldn't use these, or if they can't, we might as well throw them out in the open for all to see.

If MST3K somehow was saved, this idea could get around the Mike and the Bots getting away from Pearl and the others.

1- do a prequel. Show Mike in basic training between Mithcell and The Brain the Wouldn't Die.
or
1a- Have the baby Dr. Forrester send up another guy to make fun of movies after Mike and the Bots become pure energy. (sure the latter would cause a huge plot crash, since Forresters funding was cut, but they've gotten through worse problems with the plot)

2- Have Brain Guy become obsessed with how things used to be with Pearl and Bobo and send them all back to Rilos IV or what ever planet he took the almighty god position at to make things like they used to be.

What do you think sirs?

Pearl Gets tired of ruling her little province so she rounds up Bobo an Observer to help her kidnap Mike and the Bots,(including Gypsy)an throw them into space, with Observer creating a sattelite. Suddenly, a temporal rift whooshes the sattleite away. Pearl an her henchmen follow in the Widowmaker with an all new colliction of bad movies!

Here's my idea. Dr. Forrester, like Dave Bowman, returns with cosmic powers, upset with Pearl for messing things up. He subjects Mike and the Bots to a whole bunch of cheesy movies, stranding them in the Submarine of Love. Gypsy says "Maybe Richard Basehart will save us!" And the others cough and say, "Uh, Gypsy, there's something you ought to know..."
Eventually, however, the Observers strip Dr. Forrester of his cosmic powers. And eventually, Clayton and Pearl are forced to replace Mike and the bots, and are subjected to each and every one of the cheesy movies they tried to torture their subjects with. How that happens is anybody's guess.

Maybe Mike could be bitten by a radioactive cheese doodle found in an anchient native ammerican pet cemetary, giving him god-like powers but driving him insane. The only way to keep him from destroying existance as we know it is if the local asylum shows him a steady stream of bad movies, which makes him temporarily forget about his powers. Of course, Crow and Tom watch along with Mike, since he uses his powers to prevent them from leaving his cell.
