Did Sylar acutally hit Claire or use his telekinesis? Obviously he had to use some, it just seemed strange for here face to be a little caved in from him simply getting her out of the way.

I think this was the first chapter I watched and I recalled being surprised that I was watching a girl's head being mentally sliced up on NBC, but that's American media for ya.

I had wondered why Sylar could not sense that Jackie did not have powers. In the episode that reveals his origins we find out that his original power was that he knew things weren't working properly and that he sensed there was a difference in Brian's brain. So why couldn't he tell that about Jackie and that Claire had the powers.
