Since the first two chapters were shown together I'll post about them both here.

An interesting start to the season I must say, but not without some questions... Did Sylar pick up some parapsychology somewhere or did TPTB throw in another ability he shouldn't have? I find it hard to believe Matt, a practiced telepath et al, could do what he did to Gabe without him knowing Sylar "held on". I didn't think the Haitian would be back so soon but he was here for Denko so why not go to 'Nathan' as well?

Hiro somehow travels back 14 years and prevents his sister from hating Ando and that's the only thing that changes? That's even less plausible than Sylar still hanging around. It would change a lot of the first season because the way they were acting I doubt they could stay apart as long as they did, or without her finding about either of them.

I was critical of the carnival leader, Samuel, at first, because I don't care for the actor and thought his ability was lame; but I read a little about him and it wasn't what I thought. Apparently his is terrakinesis, moving earth, and his ink has something in it he can control. The tattoo girl, Lydia, takes the place of the precog artists, which is a nice and overdue change. Then there's the speedy knife-guy, Edgar. When Sam asks him to find their brother's compass he has to be forced, because he doesn't want to hurt people anymore, but he kills an innocent bank manager when Noah and Peter are looking at Denko's saftey deposit box.

Claire's new friend Gretchen is suspicious. This is too obvious but I'm thinking she killed Claire's roomate, or knows something about it.

There's a song about Lydia the tattooed lady. So actually having a tattooed lady named Lydia is not very original. IMHO.
