Acceptance

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Heroes: Volume 5 (Redemption): Acceptance

Not a bad chapter, but it seemed more like filler than story progression. Two minor things stood out to me here: Although Peter calls it something else, that I didn't catch, Nathan/Sylar is going around touching things and is seeing memories associated with that through his clairsentience. I don't believe it was working correctly in this ep with all those detailed memories. It's supposed to be the history of that item not what went on around it. Like that statue for instance; I think his hat was what touched it but 'Nathan' recalled quite a bit from it. Later, when that guy hired to kill Nathan started burying him, that grave was much deeper than when Sylar came out of it. I guess now, phychologically, Nathan is dead so that's why Sylar was who appeared.

NANJO but there's some scarring on the actor who plays Nathan's face, possibly just from acne or shaving, that wasn't around in previous seasons.

Me: Although Peter calls it something else, that I didn't catch...
Peter calls it psychometrics, and pretty much defines it as the other, history of a particular object, which wasn't depicted correctly in this chapter.

Something that just occured to me: in volume two Matt realized he could do a lot more than just telepathy, like his father. However, in the volume one chapter Five Years Gone he doesn't appear to be using those other abilities. In reality it's obvious why, he wasn't written that way yet, but we of course don't deal in reality :-)
