Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Heroes: Volume 5 (Redemption): Tabula Rasa

So far this season/volume isn't too bad, IMO. This chapter had a first-season feel to it and it's nice Hiro remembered Charlie; now we just need a mention of Molly and we'll be all set.

How can that carnie restore some of Sylar's memories when Matt took them all? I'm glad to see that not everything came back, which would be wrong in many ways, but I thought what he got was still too much. Did Sam and the rest of his "family" not leave their circus in the last few years? None of them seemed to know much about Sylar, just that he's powerful and a killer. They seem to be well informed now, why not the last few years? The knife-guy, Edward I think, didn't want to kill anymore when we first see him, but in this ep he killed a cop and wants to kill Sylar. Speaking of that cop, wasn't he there with a woman? Did they have to kill her to?

I knew it wouldn't be that easy to heal Hiro. Well, maybe it would be if he was there when Peter got back but why didn't Noah do his thing with the gas, all three teleport back to the hospital, heal Hiro, then switch powers again to teleport back to GA? It sounds more complicated than it is but this way Peter wouldn't have to fly back to NY in a plane. Hiro's powers wouldn't let him save Charlie in the first season, why would they now?

I have a theory as to what will happen with Charlie. I think that Hiro will save her, then return to the present to discover that Charlie managed to use her limitless knowledge to discover a cure for her condition and has since become a super-villain.

It's a little crazy, but does anyone agree?

That's not too crazy for this show. My guess is that Hiro will save her from Sylar and then she'll just die from her brain tumor, or some other means with Hiro nearby. Speaking of Charlie, if Sylar feels around the brain to get abilities how did he have enough time to get hers without being seen?

It's a bit of a coincidence but I just saw the movie ... Mall Cop which has the actress who plays Charlie in it.
