Abby has to go downstairs to let Connor in. Last time, he knocked on a sliding door upstairs.

There’s no way the Special Forces would have allowed Helen out not only fully geared up but carrying a knife.

Why do the metal objects take so long to react to the magnetic field after the doors are opened? For that matter, how did Stephen and Ryan get the metal doors open so easily?

Why don’t the SFs patrolling outside the stadium notice Tom and Duncan in the van?

Duncan and Tom have a huge well-appointed flat for a couple of students.

Why would a prehistoric bug in your system make your eyes glow and give you a voice like a Goa’uld from Stargate?!

You can’t just wander into an A&E department in Britain and get an MRI scan there and then! And if the medics had seen the bug crawling around under Tom’s skin, there’d be more than just one doctor and a nurse in the room with him. I did wonder whether Tom was fabulously wealthy and so could afford both a massive flat and private treatment, but the waiting room didn’t look like it was in a private hospital.

In the first episode Abby said she was “a lizard girl”. Would she know how to do an autopsy on a bird?

Poor Duncan – left standing there totally bewildered and alone on the terraces while the team all comfort each other!

Considering all the various chemicals & immunization things humans have in their systems, it's interesting that this parasite from hundreds to thousands of years ago survived so long in Tom.

Well, potentially there have been so many creatures popping through various anomalies into the present and then going back filled with current-day chemicals that everything in the past has probably become acclimatised to them. ;-)

Oooookayyyyy... ;-)

By the way shouldn't the summary also read "Primitive Parasite"?

After logging off the moral of the episode hit me. "Always trust your repressive, thuggish governments that keep secrets from you, because they know better than you!"
