Why does Nick always call her or refer to her as “Claudia Brown” rather than just her first name?

I loved the opening scene between Nick and Claudia in his lab.

How hilariously does that soldier run when he finds that the anomaly has re-opened?!

Great lines:
Abby: “I’m a girl in a bar. Tell me I look nice.”
Connor: “You look nice.”
Abby: “Make it more personal.”
Connor: “I personally feel you look nice.”

If Abby still works at the zoo, how does she keep getting time off to go creature-hunting without telling the zoo what she’s doing?

Great line: Ryan: “Shoot to kill. That makes a refreshing change. I was beginning to feel like a social worker.”

Why does the military allow Connor to go back to the car alone?

Great line: Lester: “I suppose just bombing somewhere’s out of the question?”

In the Permian, Helen puts her hands either side of Nick’s face and tries to kiss him. He pushes her away and her hands leave his face. The camera angle changes and her hands are back up, holding his neck.

Did Nick and Helen bury all the men in a single grave, or did they only bury Ryan and leave the others out in the open?

Thats at least the third time they've used the same establishing shot of the university. The same people are walking past and the same student jumps down off a pillar. Actually, its worse than that... two of the people walking towards the university are Nick and Stephen and that's Connor jumping off the pillar. They're reusing the shot from the first episode just before they introduce themselves.

Ooo, can we have a section for great lines?

I particularly want one dedicated to Lester, he makes the show completely.

You've got it, Jessica! See the new Sink section.

Spoiler Space!.......................

If Claudia Brown has somehow been erased from history wouldn't that change the ways that certain episodes happened? Episode 5 certainly would have proceeded differently.

(No spoilers) The first episode of Season 2 starts where this episode left off, and the subject of timelines is discussed quite early on.
