Why are there two raptors in a single cell? Surely they would rip each other to bits?

I liked the idea of youngsters complaining about an adult having his music too loud on the beach!

For a kids’ show, the man buried in the sand being taken by the scorpion was a bit shocking! With that and the man getting killed by the mammoth last week, this show isn’t afraid of occasionally upsetting the kiddies.

Helen is a ludicrous villain, with her stupid “mwah-ha-ha” expressions, her attempts at being seductive and her ever-rising cleavage. Leek, on the other hand, is brilliant and scary, and it’s a shame he’s gone.

Pandemonium on a public beach, but not a news reporter in sight. Yeah, sure, you betcha. And who’s keeping new arrivals away? Stephen told Lester he would leave if he saw anyone from the ARC but if the normal police have been sent in, they’re going to want a bloody good reason for closing the beach.

I love Connor watching Jenny climbing the ladder, then turning away with an embarrassed “Er, no,” when he realises how short her skirt is.

I also love Leek’s sarcastic applause as Nick kills the predator, and his pretend terror after Nick’s lecture.

Great line: Lester: “Now, if you don’t mind, I think there’s some snooker on the other channel.”

Great moment: Lester nonchalantly watching as the predators tear Leek to bits.

Stephen’s death happens remarkably silently. We know the room isn’t soundproofed because he talks to Nick before he dies.

Someone needs to talk to Abby about decorum at a funeral. That skirt’s a bit too short, really.

Great cliffhanger ending, somewhat spoiled by the really poor greenscreening of the various versions of the cleaner.

I thought the point about Raptors, in that they are more scary than the larger dinosaurs, was the fact that they work together. They have intelligence, and a pecking order. Presumably (off camera?) they worked out who was the stronger, and the other took orders from that one. Or am I still remembering too much "Jurassci Park" :-)?
