Apparently, Russell T Davies was keen to have a crossover between Doctor Who and Star Trek.

However, the timing was off. When RTD was bringing the Doctor back to television, Trek was going down in flames. So it never happened.

Except for that aforementioned comic book.

How much damage could Star Wars' Emperor Palpatine do if he were transported to the Star Trek universe?

By himself, with no backup? Not much.

And if he ran into Q or Trelane, or the Organians? Bye, bye Palpy!


Now, how about the Castaways from Gilligan's Island being transported to the Trek universe.

Gilligan and Skipper get their own starship, the U.S.S. Minnow. They offer three light year tours.

The Professor gets into constant debates with Spock, each using big words that no one can understand.

Mary Ann introduces coconut cream pies to the Federation.

Ginger and Uhura do singing gigs.

The Howells find the Ferengi excellent business partners (although Lovey might have something to say about the Ferengi policy of no clothes for females).

And Wrong-Way Feldman keeps sending the USS Minnow into Klingon space!

(points hands at Kirk; nothing happens)

Kirk: "Security? Take him to the brig!"

And Wrong-Way Feldman keeps sending the USS Minnow into Klingon space!

Skipper: Gilligan, I told you not to hire Wrongway as navigator!

Yeah, Palpy would just be another crazy guy there.

I'd like to see a Star Trek crossover with The Tripods. It could be used as a tribute to Charlotte Long. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlotte_Long)

How about Kirk and Co. meet Blake and his crew. Blake can tell Kirk about a very different Federation.

Or even better- the Trek Federation with a Servalan who is a humanitarian and diplomat....

Imagine crossing over with the Irwin Allen shows. Have Tony Newman and Doug Philips appear on the Enterprise.

Or the Enterprise could run into the Jupiter II. Wonder if the Robinson family would try to unload Dr. Smith unto the Enterprise

The Robot and Data could have long philosophical discussions.
