Mr. District Attorney

I read about this show once in a book. It was actually a book about product placement, and it mentioned an epsiode of this show from the 50s (Mr. District Attorney it was called), where a storyline about illegal bootleg records was written and filmed. The episode was used as an excuse by some record label to push some new albums they had dropping that month.

Has anyone ever seen this show?

According to Star Trek 2.0, David Brian (John Gill in "Patterns Of Force") was the star. It apparently ran only one season. What little is on IMDB can be viewed here.

Oh, yes, I forgot - Gene Roddenberry (we all know who he was, don't we?) was a writer and a credited technical advisor for Mr. District Attorney.
