Sax, could we get a regular board for this? I saw the new episode last night, and I will *definitely* be watching this show.

Anyone else like this show?

Hannah: Sax had one. He dleeted it bcause no one commented on it for pretty much the entirety of the season.

The Hispanic playing an Israeli (Ziva?) isn't bad but I still miss Kate. And what the heck has Lauren Holly done to her hair?

By Brian Moore on Sunday, March 05, 2006 - 5:39 am:

I love NCIS but I find the Ziva character annoying. A Mossad officer would not have any jurisdiction within the US. The character was brought in for comic relief opposite the DiNozzo character. This makes the show more of a comedy/drama. I personally prefer the blonde agent named Paula (the actress who played the original Dr Weir on Stargate) who could verbally spar with DiNozzo and not make it seem like she was trying to demean his sexuality. The unfortunate thing about this series is that it is getting more *Nash Bridges* with every episode.

It's too bad NCIS doesn't have it's own board; it's better than most cop shows out there, my opinion of course. I find it strange that a Hispanic woman is playing an Israeli, and Ziva doing a good job, but she's no Kate. This week's episode should not have invovled the NCIS. Aside from Annapolis, I do not believe that there is a school on Navy/Marine Corps property. Sure a school near a base may comprise of many children from such families but the NCIS wouldn't be the first in to negotiate.

It must have been Star Trek on NCIS this week. They had Tim Russ and the chief eng on Enterprise, whose name I can't think of. I didn't quite buy the character the ENT guy played but it was nice to see him again. Why does OFFICER Daviid(?) have a badge for NCIS special AGENT? She's Mossad just working with them she's not really one of them.

What would this show be without Gibbs? I doubt I would continue to watch if this were a permanant resignation, but I don't think it is, Gibbs would miss it too much and it wasn't a dramitic enough reason for him to leave permanantly. I might follow 6 or 7 shows every year, but I do not recall a season of television that has such over-dramitic finalies as the shows ending this month. What makes May of 2006 so special?

Did anyone else recognize the beach Gibbs rode a horse on in last night's ep, "Patriot Down"? It's the same beach Charlton Heston rode across in Planet of the Apes. At one point, Gibbs is even looking at the spot where the Statue of Liberty had fallen.

Gibbs on a horse.

In the episode, "Probie", McGee shoots and kills an undercover police officer, Lt. Benedict. However, the lack of shell fragments from the cops' gun and other evidence, make it look like McGee shot first without identifying himself. Except Ziva, the team works hard to find evidence the cop shot his gun, too. Except they did not check one obvious thing - they did not check Benedict for powder burns. If they had, they would have known the Lt. did indeed fire his weapon, too, which would've helped exonerate McGee.

By Benn (Benn) on Saturday, November 06, 2010 - 1:54 pm:

In "Ravenous", having noticed the park ranger he was macking on doesn't shave her legs or armpits, Tony asked Ziva if she shaves. Given that in the ep, "Under Covers", Tony and Ziva pretended to be married, DiNozzo should know that Ziva David shaves.

"You think, DiNozzo."

Special Agent Caitlin Todd was killed in the second season episode, "Twilight". Watch the kill shot carefully. Specifically watch Tony DiNozzo. Actor Michael Weatherly, who plays DiNozzo, visibly flinches just before the fatal shot is fired, obviously to avoid getting any of the fake blood in his eyes.

"You think, DiNozzo."

Being a Baltimorean, I'm repeatedly bugged by this show's nits, but I enjoy it enough to let 'em go. Most of the time.

But when a suspect's mom lives in Cumberland, a city in between two mountains in western Maryland and when NCIS goes to her house it's a beautiful, sprawling ranch…I think they could do better.

Or when they look at a suspect's driver's license and the suspect lives in Waldorf, MD, and the license says "AA" which stands for "Anne Arundel" county when Waldorf is in Charles County.

You'd think people with access to Google, like writers, continuity people, producers, etc., could pay a little more attention to their work.

Grrr.
