Just heard that Jerry Orbach passed away from prostate cancer last Tuesday :(

He never needed eyeglasses. Even into his sixties (unlike yours truly ). Orbach had his eyes donated after his death. From prostate cancer. Which he fought for years, while still working on the series. A trooper to the end.
