This is the second time he's starred as a lawyer. Of course, in this case, he's the anti-Dan Fielding. He's the one trying to maintain a sense of respectability in the face of a staff full of sexual shenannigans.

And of course, the scenes between him and Alison La Placa are rather fun, in view of the old "John Laroquette Show", wherein their characters also had a relationship.

This is the second time he's starred as a lawyer.
At least the third, maybe. If you count his appearance as a lawyer who causes trouble for Bruce Willis' character Walter, then defends him, in the 1987 comic romp Blind Date.
