A Clockwork Nebari

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Farscape: Season Two: A Clockwork Nebari

Varla, a Nebari female, mind cleanses everyone except Pilot and Chiana and Pilot is being forced to work for the Nebari. This leaves no one to prevent a Nebari invasion.

ok, this is a spoiler, but it's also a major plot
hole. So, the double crossing guy can't take
Chiana back to her brother. Fine, no problem
there. What bothers me is that he seems to
have no problem then with leaving her in
chains to be mind cleansed. Does he REALLY
think that this is what Neri would want?
Besides, if she knows about her brother she
will spill the beans as soon as she is
cleansed and that would ruin all of the
rebellion's plans.

LOL, Crichton has already named his impulse pistol!

And who else was remembering a certain Gilliam animation during his special treatment?

Ok, the Crichton mindcleansing was creepy, but there was something even moreso. The nice, weepy, chipper Dargo. Yikes.

Line of the show:

Rygel: "I'm nobody's puppet!"

I did love that Rygel line. In fact, most of Rygel's scenes were good. I especially liked Crichton's search for him ("Where are you my little husky?"). Did he call Rygel a husky? I liked the revisit of the helium fart.

Cricthon: Bitchin'.
Rygel: Bitchin'.

Good Stuff

This was probably the first episode of Farscape i ever saw and one of the few that i saw on its original air date.

Crichton's entire act as the surfer dude was awesome. Very funny.

Why is Aeryn treating Varla's injuries? You'd think Zhaan would do it since she has the most medical knowledge (especially considering how little screen time she gets in this episode).

I think this is the first time we ever hear Pilot use strong language (the bit in Out of Their Minds doesn't really count, since it was actually Dargo).
