Home On The Remains
Zhaan – a plant lifeform – begins to metamorphose through not having had decent food for too long. She starts producing buds which give off a sort of pollen, sending the rest of the crew into massive sneezing fits. The only way to stop this change – and save Zhaan’s life – is for her to eat meat. Moya is in the vicinity of a Budong carcass – a Budong being a giant space creature. It’s so big that a mining colony lives on the carcass and digs crystals out of the innards (sweet!). Chiana has spent time with the miners in the past and so takes John, Rygel and D’Argo to the carcass to try and barter for some food. Aeryn stays behind to help Zhaan but as her metamorphosis continues she becomes more and more unreasonable, and more and more dangerous to Moya. Synopsis by Callie Sullivan.
