Not sure if this is really a nit, but:

At the end of the episode, when Talyn starbursts away, Scorpius tells Lt. Bracca that he had been assured by his tactical officer that Talyn would not develop the ability to starburst for another full arn. Wow! Those tactical officers are good. They can pinpoint the exact HOUR that an unknown hybrid starship is going to develop its abilities without knowing the exact time when it was born? Especially considering they had only a few moments to scan the vessel when it emerged from the asteroid field? After all, they couldn't even find it before then. It would have been better if Scorpius had said "a few solar days."
