Exodus From Genesis

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Farscape: Season One: Exodus From Genesis
After a close encounter with a Peacekeeper Marauder and a cloud of space debris, the crew gets stuck with a group of aliens who like it hot and have taken on their forms in order to adjust the environment. This is not good for Aeryn. The excessive heat induces a permanent coma in her species.

If excessive heat is so bad for them, why don't the commandos wear temperature-controlled body armor. I recall there being a cover story some time back in Popular Science about such armor and how it's fairly feasable.

When Rygel is struggling to get his painting off of him, we can see him moving about on his throne sled, but we don't hear the motors humming.

In the British box set of videos of Season 1, this is the fifth episode although it appears to have been shown third on the TV.

Zhaan’s clever – she repaints the entire picture of Rygel without changing the colour on the paintbrush. Was the paint still wet and she just rearranged it?

This is, I believe, the only time we see Peacekeepers wearing fancy eye makeup.

I also think that this is the only time that we see the Terrace (apart from a very brief glimpse in one future episode). I wonder if the producers realised that it was too similar to the Observation Dome on Babylon 5.

My sister (to whom I've started to introduce to Farscape last night) suggested that perhaps it was intended by the producers to be a sort of war paint and then realized too late that it looked kind of stoopid.
