Cute scene in this ep.
Crichton and Aeryn leave Moya, who is sinking into a muddy swamp on a technologically unsophisticated planet. Crichton notes that the lush planet looks like "Louisiana...or Degobah."
Aeryn gives him a quizzical look and Crichton says something like "You know, the planet where Yoda lives. Little green guy. Trains warriors."
And Aeryn just keeps giving him that look.
He also uses the phrase "Or we could stick our heads between our legs and kiss our ass goodbye," which leads Zhan, D'Argo, and Aeryn to give him another one of those looks, to which he replies "It's just an expression."
Boy, the show is still great, but it was neat in the beginning when they were all still getting used to Crichton.
As I understand it, the translator microbes only allow one to understand all languages, not speak them. So how is it that the inhabitants of this world can understand Crichton, as I doubt they have that level of technology?
I was wondering the same thing, Gordon. Chalk it up to artistic license.
In the British box set of videos of Season 1, this is the fourth episode although it appears to have been shown second on the TV.
