Ok, now I'm confused. According to ign.com's "Ask the Bug-Eyed Monster," at a recent convention Hey said she had left the show for health reasons but didn't know if the character will be back or not.
But, her web-site makes it seem that she is sticking around. What gives?
That web site doesn't look as if it has been updated in a long time. There's a question section called the FAQ and I posted there but there hasn't been any sign of my posting well over a month and a half.
It's a shame if Zhaan is out, as she is one of my favourite characters....

OK. I'm not C and I don't know for sure but I imagine that being covered in blue make-up for long periods of time doesn't do you much good. Your skin needs to breath and even with todays make-up there is probably a limit to how much it can do that.
I haven't been able to track down what Hey's health reasons are, if any. You'd think there would be some rumors floating around out there, but I have yet to really hear (or read) anything. Being a reporter can be good for getting the scoop on some shows, but nothing has run on Hey's departure or non-departure (or whatever it is).
Well, it's official. According to a report on ign.com's sci-fi page, Hey has left the show for good. Not a big surprise to most, but I kept hoping. Oh, well.
According to TPTB mentioned in the report, Hey left because she felt it was time to move on (whatever that means).
