I just saw Anthony out of make-up - wow, what a difference! He actually described himself as a geeky guy, and he surely is, bless him! I was also staggered at how different his voice is when he's not playing the part.

I just saw a blooper reel of Dargo. Very funny.

"I vote we call it Ploppy. Ploppy the SpaceShip." (BlackAdder reference?)

He is pretending to fire his blade and puts his back against the wall, which moves. Then says, in a very Shatner like manner "I seem to have moved the wall." He seems like a guy who has fun on the set.

Where did you see this blooper film? Was it over the Internet or t.v.?

My cousin gave me a copy of it on CD. Its only about a minute and a half long and he put it on the same disc as "Undressed." I have asked him where he got it but he doesn't know.... Sorry.

Does anyone know where Simcoe is from? My sister is convinced that he sounds like an American. IMDB was no help as it didn't say where he was born.

You can find a brief biography of Anthony here which indicates that he’s Australian (or at least has lived there a long time). There’s also part of an interview with him here where he describes his normal accent as ‘dorky Australian’. And having heard him do an interview at the end of one of the season 1 episode videos, he does sound Australian in real life.
