What Was Lost, Part 2: "Resurrection"

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Farscape: Season Four: What Was Lost, Part 2: "Resurrection"
D’Argo tells John he’ll have to keep Grayza ‘busy’ for a couple of hours.
Sikozu: “From what we have seen, that should not be too hard.”
John: “Trust me, it’ll be hard.”

John has survived his leap into the ocean (surprise!) and he and D’Argo try to rescue Chiana and Jool from Grayza. Unfortunately for John, this involves doing the big bad deed with Grayza.

Final episode (perhaps) for Jool.

Thanks for these, Lee - I've changed the titles.

No problem. Just saw the information at Farscape World.

Yes, I pop in there occasionally but really must remember to go there more often!

"You ba$tard"
-- Crichton after D'Argo tongue-whips him

>> This episode made a lot more sense than the last one.

>> So Jool's gone. No big surprise there.

>> Is Scorpy dead THIS time? I think not.

>> Why did Commandant Grayza allow herself to be tied up? And the old woman seemed to imply that snorting the bug would make you go on some drug trip where you go all loopy. All it seemed to do was provide an antidote to Grayza's breast sweat.

>> Grayza is not a hybrid, she just had a gland implanted into her body. This will shorten her lifespan. Very intriguing.

>> These Peacekeeper guards are dumber than Imperial Stormtroopers. Jool does her scream to melt the handcuffs and then the three women stare at the PK guard. Instead of firing the weapon in his hand, the PK just stands there until he gets kicked in the head.

>> Rygel and Elack's Pilot seemed to develop a friendship. I liked this. Kinda out of character for Rygel though.

>> Grayza doesn't hold a candle to Scorpius or even Crais as far as evil villains go.

>> I liked this episode. I can't wait until we get back to Moya.

See ya later

Scorpy is not dead! I can wait to see the can of whoop-a$$ he is going to open up on Grayza and Braka.

You are right. Grayza does not hold a candle to Scorpy as a villian.

Anyone know the story as to why Tammy Macintosh and Paul Goddard (Stark) left the show?

By cstadulis on Tuesday, June 25, 2002 - 6:48 pm:

I will bet anyone $100 that Scorpius show up at some later date, possibly working with John and the crew to destroy Bracca and Grayza. Boy, will that guy EVER die? I swear, just when you think you've seen the last of Scorpius....

It's nice to see somebody leave who seems somewhat happy and sane. I wouldn't count Jool out for future eps, though.

Will we ever get a straight explaination about why Moya got sucked into that wormhole?

So, John's able to jump from the top of the cliff but the water is still shallow enough for him to find Winona? That does not seem possible.

Oh, yes, one more thing. Did anyone notice if DRD 1812 made it? He/she was working on the module for Rygel, but I couldn't tell if it was inside or outside the module. Can DRD's survive if the host ship dies?

I am going to guess no for that one; it seemed to me that 1812 was the only DRD left onboard Elack

*whoooeeee* I did NOT see that one comming.

Just as I got round to liking Jool she goes and leaves. Well, at least we now know why she was never givena major place n the credits.

I did wonder that myself. I mean, they were RIGHT NEXT to them. Very sort of "Charlies Angels" that whole scene then Chi and Jool seemed to something I've seen on Bill and Ted. :)

Grayza still reminds me of Servalan from Blak's 7. I keep expecting Avon to pop up from out the bushes.

Everything else seems to heave been covered really...
Another nice episode.

Odd...I was sure that I'd spell checked that. :P Ignore all the typos folks, something odds happening my end I think.

Why did Noranti think that jumping off a cliff into deep water would kill John?

The sea beastie asks questions of John while he’s holding him underwater. Surely John wouldn’t be able to hear him?

In the cell, Sikozu speaks loudly enough for the guards to be able to hear her telling Jool and Chiana that she’s been bluffing to the Peacekeepers, yet they do nothing.

Jool tells Chiana to block Sikozu’s ears while she screams and melts their handcuffs. But weren’t Chiana’s ears more sensitive than most in Season 1’s Through the Looking Glass, the one where Moya got split into four and one of them had an ear-splitting noise? Yet she doesn’t seem to react badly to being so close to Jool as she screams. And Jool knows nothing about Sikozu’s constitution and whether or not her scream would affect her hearing.

And I agree with TUE and SpottedKitty that the Peacekeeper guards are dumber than a bag of hammers – the handcuffs clink very noisily to the ground but the guards don’t even raise their weapons, let alone do anything with them!

Again John seems to hear underwater when Chiana calls his name.

As they go off to search for the triangles, John says to Chiana, “Go with Jools.”

John tells Chiana and Jool that the way to activate the probes is to “slam ‘em in the ground and kick ‘em.” Firstly, how did he know how to activate them? And then nobody kicks their probe after slamming it down.

An enemy of peace created the probes to cause the magnetic summers. It seems a little unlikely that they would have put a reverse switch in them, especially when this reverse action can be activated so very easily.

Why is Jool’s hair still red as she says goodbye? I’m half convinced that TPTB wrote Jool out because they couldn’t afford to keep changing her hair colour!

It would be nice to see DRD 1812 working with the other DRDs on Moya, having been ‘adopted’ by her. I think he could well have still been in the transport pod as Rygel left Elack, but somehow I doubt that Rygel would have thought of bringing him along when he was picked up by Lo’La.

By Josh M on Monday, August 11, 2003 - 2:10 am:

Yeah, her hair did stay red for two episodes. Doesn't make much sense.

I don't know why but I was waiting for D'Argo and Jool to kiss for the last two eps. It seemed so right.

And yes, those PK guards are idiots. They watched the entire conversation between the three ladies, less than three feet away, then watched as the cuffs came off. What were they doing? Can't see or hear in those helmets of theirs?

And where is Moya?

"Rygel and Elack's Pilot seemed to develop a friendship. I liked this. Kinda out of character for Rygel though."

Rygel has always had something of a soft spot (for Rygel) for pilots, probably due to all those years on Moya.
