So far the novels include Dark Side of the Sun, Ship of Ghosts, and House of Cards. A fouhth novel, Out of Time, is upcoming.

I've only read House of Cards but really enjoyed it. I can't think of any nitpicks for it off the top of my head, though.

Have been reading Ship of Ghosts and have spotted a fair number of continuity problems. First let's establish when it takes place. It's probably between Throne for a Loss and That Old Black Magic. It's after the former because Dargo is using the energy weapon function of his Qualta Blade and that episode was the first time he used it since being freed. It takes place before the latter because the blond XO makes an appearance and Crais had snapped her neck like a twig in that one.
That all being taken care of, Dargo mentions his son. IIRC, until They've Got a Secret, none of the rest of the crew was aware that Dargo even had a son.
Others make use of the term tractor beam. But in Throne for a Loss, that term is foreign to them.
More later.
