Riggs grew up on a diet of British science fiction on Australian television, and was a great fan of the four year adventures of Blakes 7. "As soon s I saw the short black wig for Grayza ,I thought of Servalan," Riggs Admits, referring to the cunning and astute Federation Comissioner whose obession with capturing Blake, Avon and his crew led to her death. "I think Grayza's a bit less camp than Servalan, and I think she's more scientific. This observational quality is very strong in her."

It’s a matter of opinion of course but I’d say she’s just as bad as Servalan!

“Federation Comissioner whose obsession with capturing Blake, Avon and his crew led to her death”
Huh? Not in the series it didn’t – maybe in the radio shows?

I find Grayza’s similarity to Servalan annoying – I just can’t take her seriously.

The part about Servalan's death is partially correct though.

When the fourth season of Blake's 7 came around Servalan was posing under the name of Commisioner Sleer, presumably to hide from enemies after being toppled from her position as President of the Terran Federation. It's possible that she had been presumed dead with the destruction of the Liberator.
