We’re So Screwed, Part 2: Hot To Katratzi

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Farscape: Season Four: We’re So Screwed, Part 2: Hot To Katratzi
“Mankind’s greatest contribution to the absurd – the thermonuclear bomb.”

“Bill Gates can’t guarantee Windows. How’re you gonna guarantee my safety?”

With Scorpius held captive by the Scarrans and being interrogated by the last person you’d expect, the crew mount a rescue attempt. But Scorpy has one more surprise to spring on us.
Synopsis by Callie Sullivan.

John’s monologue to the peace conference was fantastic. I could quite happily give the whole three-four minutes of it as the quote of the episode.

It was a shame that I spotted Paul Goddard’s name in the opening credits, so the arrival of Stark wasn’t the surprise it could have been.

Grayza’s new make-up is no improvement – she looks like a robot.

When did Scorpius tell John that Braca was his spy? Or did Harvey tell him?

Wow – I thought that the revelation that Sikozu is a Bioloid was going to be the revelation of the episode (and I thought to myself, “No wonder her arms reattach so easily!”) but the Real revelation had me gasping, “Bloody hell!” out loud.

When Farscape kicks ass, it really kicks ass, and this looks like being as big a blockbuster ending as Season 3 was. What a bloody shame that the viewing figures for the rest of the season don’t look like they’ve been good enough to get the series a reprieve.

Yah still gotta love Farscape. Like you say C, when it's Bad it's still better than 99% of whats out there and when it's Good it's D****d Good!

This whole Scorpy thing is starting to get complex now. :) Looks like he doesn't really care about either side in the long run so long as he gets what he wants. In all honesty, I really hope that John never believes Scorpy again...I was actually ready for John/Aeryn to shoot him when they had him on the table.

I really do need to start taping things, still I'll grab the DVDs soon enough...I completly missed that bit about Sikozu being a Bioloid and spent the rest of the ep going "What the heck is going on with Sikozu and that other guy?!"

Stark looks completly different with hair, it's a shame we didn't see him meet John again after the whole John Quixote episode. Maybe they'll meet up next ep.

Geeting back to the brilliance of the big F, one thing I've noticed about Farscape is the fact that while most series have two parters, Farscape goes in for the three parters. What shocks me most is that while the two parters for most shows tend to be a one-show story streached over two the Farscape three parters are some of the best eps of the entier series. More on that in the Clam Shell...

Am I finally cracking up, or did Braca look really dishy in this episode?!

(sigh) Sci-Fi is now calling these last episodes as the "series finale." I guess they're really dropping Farscape.

I only caught the last few minutes of this ep (been moving to a new place and just finally got the cable up and running), but I really enjoyed watching Granny and Pip wreck havoc with Granny's "magic dust."

So was that really a bomb Crichton had strapped to his back or was he bluffing?

I was expecting Stark to reveal himself to Crichton when he walked into the torture chamber with Aeryn, too bad as it would have been rather
interesting confrontation.
