Real name: Cynthia McEachin. Works with Max at Jam Pony. She is a proud lesbian, and is very suspicious of men. She is a true friend to Max and the others. She learns about Max's past in "Rising." In "The Kidz Are Aiight," she moves in with Max (Kendra left earlier). Her nickname comes from the fact that she "doesn't play nobody's steelo."

She used to be a timid, shy little girl until her first girlfriend, "Diamond" Tanya, changed her life. Diamond eventually reunites with Cindy in "Shorties In Love," but Diamond dies in that episode.

This character annoys me a bit. I hope they flesh her out a bit more, because at the moment her entire character seems to be "Lesbian chick". It's sad so see her defined so much by that. Not to mention all the pseudo-slang she used, which I find pretentious.

Here's hoping she gets some more depth.

I've got to agree, I think it's the Ellen DeGeneres syndrome, "yes we KNOW you're a lesbian", no need to pound it into us.
