Real name: Dr. Elizabeth Renfro. She works for a secret organization connected to Manticore, one which Lydeckers doesn't even know about. She worked for several labs before heading to Manticore ("Proof of Purchase). She ruined Lydecker's reputation in hopes of taking over Manticore fully. She kidnapped Tinga, but Tinga died after being freed by Max from a horrific holding cell. She was in charge of training the X-units after Lydecker left Manticore.

-Brin works for Madame X.

-So did Peter Sandoval. He was killed by the killer hoverdrone which had a picture of him, supplied by Lydecker in "Meow."

-She dies in "Designate This" after taking a bullet to protect Max. Her last words were for Max to find the "Sandman."

Wouldn't it be funny if she was a colonel, just like Lydecker?

I thought she was a Major, or did she get promoted; I missed the last few seasons of DS9 'cause of work.

She was a colonel throughout the seventh season, except for the few episodes where she was given a comission as a commander in Starfleet.
