A Vision of the Future: Star Trek: Voyager

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: The Authoritative Works of Trek: Star Trek: Voyager: A Vision of the Future: Star Trek: Voyager

Written by Stephen Edward Poe, this book is the most detailed behind-the-scenes guide to Voyager that I have ever seen. It includes the casting process, the pre-production happenings (and mishaps!), and what it took to create just one episode, "Eye of the Needle."

I'm up to page 286 out of 372, and have to admit that the more I read, the more I'm enjoying it. It's not as good as The Making of Star Trek (the original series), but quite a good book.
My problems with it are not nearly enough pre-poduction sketches of ships and so much behind-kissing of Rick Berman (who comes across practically like the all-seeing messiah), that it becomes tedious.
I'd definitely recommend this book, as long as you can hold 10 pounds of manuscript per reading.

BTW, according to my Star Trek The Next generation calendar Rick Berman was born upon the 25th December.

Seriously?

Mr. Poe also wrote "The Making Of Star Trek" in 1968, under the name Stephen E. Whitfield.
So, what is his real name?
