Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: The Authoritative Works of Trek: Star Trek: Voyager: Mosaic

Written by Jeri Taylor, this novel details the life of Captain Kathryn Janeway. Voyager has an away team stuck on a dangerous planet while the ship has hidden in a nebula to avoid a Kazon vessel. This inspires Janeway to think about the things she's done in her life. We read about her childhood, high school, her Academy days, her first deep-space mission, and when she first met Tuvok and was swept to the Delta Quadrant. All in all, a good read, and a very good Biography of our hero, Captain Kate.

Chapter 2 refers to a replicator in the study of Kathryn Janeway`s father, but a later chapter says that the family don`t have replicators.
