This is the first book in the Icewind Dale trilogy. I have the Trilogy complete in one Collector's edition. I finsihed it in less than month (pretty good for me). It was very well written, with some great characters.

I read this series when I was really into the Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance, but it was a long time ago now.

They were quite good though.
