Fantasy/Humor

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Fantasy Novels: The Wizard's Sink: Fantasy/Humor

Ok, this is a place to list some good Fantasy/Humor books or series. Why? Well, mainly because I've read all the ones I know of and could get my hands on, and I'm looking for suggestions. :) I'll start.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels - Very very funny, these have somewhat ruined me for other books.

Robert Asprin's Myth-Adventures series - Also, very funny.

Piers Anthony's Xanth series - I absolutely loved this series when I was younger. Its no where near as good now, but the early ones are still very enjoyable. Assuming, of course, that you don't run screaming at the sight of puns.

There's The Tough Guide to Fantasyland by Diana Wynne Jones, which is a hilarious skewering of the stereotypes and cliches of crappy fantasy literature (as well as some of the non-crappy stuff).

How about the Dungeon, Dragon, Demon, Damsel & Smith boards in L.I.C.C.? :O

Alan Dean Fosters Spellsinger books aren't too bad either, and Harvard Lampoons Bored of the Rings is well worth a read.

I would say more, but a shadow seems to have passed over my face.

Are you kidding me? Bored of the Rings sucks. Here's a link to a far superior parody (because the people who wrote it actually care).
