Some of the early Dragonlance books were decent, if a bit 'generic fantasy', but after the first couple of trilogies they really went downhill. Some of the books dealing with heroes weren't bad, like Huma, but when it started getting to the stage of what Tanis did on that spare six weeks he had one year, it really got bad.
