This pretty much established the Arthur Mythos
for all time.

Poor Mordred goes down in legend as the man who
betrayed and killed his father,even though Arthur
wasn't much of one.

I think that the unsung hero is actually Gawain,
as he was the one who remained faithful when
everyone else seemed to drift away from Arthur.
Ok,so I really like the guy and think that he
was the best of Arthur's knights.

I liked Gareth, the "kitchen knave", who had to put up with the incesant chidings of his damsel in distress.

I also like the way Sir Tristram put up with all the snide remarks about knights from Cornwall every time he told people where he was from.

I think these are probably the funniest parts of the whole book, which goes to show just how unfunny it is.
