Fry, concerned about his retirement, goes to the bank with Bender. Unfortunately, he meets Bender's friend who robs the bank and gets Bender and Fry arrested for the crime. Bender and Fry plead insanity and get sent to a robot insaine asylum. Fry is sent home believing he is a robot.

Later, the bank robber robs the same bank and takes the Planet Express crew hostage. Fry attacks the robber and he is captured. And things return to normal at Planet Express.

I have a question: Why was the robot asylum so easy to break out of? Wouldn't they have slightly tighter security (or at least stronger walls)? I mean, as a rule, robots are much stronger than humans, so shouldn't the walls be much stronger?

So how long did Fry think he was a robot? During the visit he admitted that he would have starved if it wasn't for the sick vending machine robot, but once he believed he was a robot wouldn't he have stopped eating human food? Shouldn't he have been suffering from hunger pains as a 'robot'?

When Leela said she was going to prove to Fry that he was a man as only a woman could, I thought for sure she was going to knee him in the groin.

So shouldn't Bender have been rearrested at the end as both an escapee & accomplice in a new bank robbery?
