Ccabe, Leela did not implant a chip into Bender, he just happened to have an arm with the Prime Minister's chip in it.
Weren't some of those monuments stolen by a supervillain in the 27th cedntury and placed at Monument Beach, then finally destroyed in When Aliens Attack?
So why doesn't Leela apply as a pilot at another place?
Why do they need their original chips? Did Farnsworth remove the ship's crew chips that we saw in Space Pilot 3000?
In another episode Leela is 'fired' by her boss because she hadn't shown up for work (apparently not realizing she had quit). Here he says he is glad she is back.
LA looks a lot worse here than it will in That's Lobstertainment.
Forgot to post this last time.
The beginning had printed 'No substitute for human interaction.' Of course not, that's what the Internet is for. ;-)
The title, of course, is a variation on The Bionic Woman.
Anybody else notice "Weird Al" in the cryogenic chamber?
I found it amusing that Fry got dumped by Michelle the same way he was dumped in 1999.
I feel kind of sorry for Fry. Michelle says that after Fry disappeared, his parents refused to have anyone search for him because it'd be a waste of tax dollars. This would be funny if it weren't true with reality.
Star Trek TOS reference...the bratty kids in primitive, tattered clothes: "Miri"
How come in "L.A. 4000 A.D." there are cars with wheels on them? (Granted we don't know it's not L.A. 4000 A.D. until later, but the kid has a hover-skateboard.)
Zoidberg: "Now Zoidberg is the popular one!"
Farnsworth: "Yes everybody, talk to Zoidberg!"
Leela tells Fry not to beg, because "It's not like we're veterans". Oh yes they are. In "War is the H-Word", Leela, Fry, and Bender were all in the military.
