Yep..it's here...it's now...it's on DVD.
Best DVDs ever. And season 2 will apparently be released in August (though the date keeps changing).
August 12. Woohoo! Just over a month away.
We have the first three seasons on DVD in the UK.
Well Tuesday is just around the corner. Can't wait to see season 2 on DVD!!!!
Rene, So how is season 2?
Watched the "Xmas story", "Why Must I Be A Crustacean In Love" and "Brannigan Begin Again" a million times already!
Season 2 really is great. Love the scene in "The Honking" where Bender comes in singing his name and Hermes mutes him. lol...He's still singing an dancing, not aware of having been muted.
Curse you Fox! You cancelled the best show in history!

Really? As far as I know, the S*mpsons are still going strong.
Er...have you watched the Simpsons for the past few years? That show is waaaaaaaaaay past it's prime.
NO! You're wrong Rene. That show is NOT waaaaaaaaaay past it's prime.
It's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY past its prime.
Er...have you watched the Simpsons for the past few years? That show is waaaaaaaaaay past it's prime.
yeah, i'm going to have to disagree with that.
Rene, the show has been getting noticeably better of late. There is a general consensus developing on the Net that Seasons 10 and 11 (and to a lesser degree 12) were the low point. Or did you just give up at that point?
Anyway, that's enough about the S*mps*ns. Don't want to get a slap on the wrist now do we, eh?
I had given up two years ago. Maybe I'll give the show another chance.
I advise you to.
Did they bring in Seven of Nine to boost ratings?
No - they brought in Mike Scully to boost the level of Homer stupidity.
Assuming you're talking about the bad seasons, that is.
Anyway, back to Futurama DVDs. As a regular poster, I could complain and try to find a way to discuss the Simpsons on nitcentral. But as a moderator, I have to inform you that any further Simpsons discussion will be deleted :p
Rene, what is the price of Futurama DVDs anyway? Are they like the Star Trek or Simpons DVDs; and were they always that price, or do you think it'll drop?
I'm kinda considering buying them but only at a good deal
I think they're around 30 a season.
does the DVDs have any special behind the scenes stuff that is interesting and worth buying?
There are audio commentaries & deleted scenes on several episodes.
There are Easter Eggs on the DVD's & the copyright warning on the Season 3 DVD's very funny, indeed (The Last One's is written in Futurama's Alien Alphabet !)
Season 4 comes out Aug. 24
