The Dunwych Madness
Parker is invited by an old SEAL teammate (a demolitons expert) to visit his restaraunt in Dunwynch, Maine. Bllard wins a tropical island while gambling in Las Vegas, and decides to take time off there; he recommends Andrew "Hooter" Owsley to join the team in his place, but Owsley managed to piss off Ramsey.
Parker finds Dunwynch nearly deserted, and things not right. The town ends up blown sky high by explosives, but Parker managed to survive. He backsteps, and goes to Dunwynch with Craig and Olga; meanwhile, Mentnor realizes whatever is affecting the town is a leftover from one of his old World War II experiments. While Donovan gets affected, Olga and Frank find the source of contamination, a dumped canister brought to shore on a fishing boat. Hooter managed to break ionto government computers and finds that a cure exists before the President orders the town destroyed.
By Len on Thursday, November 02, 2000 - 11:58 am: Finally a front-step in a better direction!! At least this episode had a bit of a mystery to it that kept you wanting to watch. Easily the best of the season so far. Next week's ep doesn't look promising though...
Also: I thought Hooter wasn't too bad - he could add a new eleement into the mix, although I'll miss Ballard who, I'd suggest, is the best done handicapped character in TV today.
