Adam & Eve & Adam

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Seven Days: Season Three: Adam & Eve & Adam
Olga, Parker and Owsley travel to a United States bunker where files from the 60's when backstep was started are being held. Olga wants to review the files on previous chrononauts and their health. The Los Alamos nuclear labs are testing a high yield nuclear device which accidentally shockwaves around the globe, leaving Olga, Parker, a severely injured (mentally and physically) Hooter, and a military major as the only people on the planet.
After traveling a ways to get to Backstep, they reveal what Backstep does to the major who cracks and Hooter kills the major. Hooter is going insane, believing himself to be the new Adam, and he attacks Olga and Frank at Backstep. Before they launch the Sphere, Frank and Olga discuss the possibility he may not make it to the past, due to unknown side effects and damage to the sphere, and whether they should stay where they are are recreate the human race. They decide to try the backstep and Parker succesfully arrives in the past, getting the nuclear test canceled.

Actually Hooter killed the Lieutenant because he
was ALREADY insane as was the Lieutnant, and by the
way I do believe that the Lieutenant was actually
a Major.

Ironic yet great line:"...he's emotionally more
stable than you Mr.Parker."Olga to Frank about
Hooter after the Backstep.

I don't know if this is a nit or not but at first
after the accident Hooter doesn't appear to have
any signs of blisters on his face, they appear
later when they're entering Nevada.
So if Hooter was unprotected wouldn't the blisters
from the radiation poisoning have shown earlier?

BTW:For a guy with a photographic memory Frank
seems to have forgotten that this wasn't the
first time Olga has started up the Sphere by
herself,I believe she also did it solo in the
episode where they had the virus that wiped off
most of the world's population in the first season.

Good point, a lot of times I can never remember major details of the guest characters who are only there for an episode or so. I missed the end of the episode (everything after Parker backstepped, pretty much, due to a phone call).
