Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Seven Days: Season Two: The Collector

This pertains to the eighth episode of the second season. My nitpicks are as numerically proceeds:
1) Why use the telephone to cancel something in the facility when you are in fact in the facility? Lt. Frank Parker seeks to contact someone when it is announced that a Backstep is to occur.
2) The sweatshirt's hood is over Frank's head and moves during the entire time he is performing his flip before Dr. Olga Vukavitch. However, the hood remarkably returns to its original position when he is done.
3) What happened to the removal of a layer of skin with each Backstep? Furthermore, there is no longer any blood leaking from Frank's eyes anymore after a Backstep. Inconsistency, anyone?
4) Not truly a nitpick, but it was indeed a missed opportunity. When the killer contacts Lt. Frank Parker, I half-expected him to inquire, "What's your favorite scary movie?"
5) There is no handgun in Frank's hand as he is leaving the hotel room and descending the staircase, even though the gun was clearly in his hand in the previous scene.
6) Why incapacitate the second girl you abduct rather than the initial one? The killer decides to do so for some odd reason.
7) "You what?!", declares Bradley Talmadge when being notified by Lt. Frank Parker that Dr. Olga Vukavitch has been abducted by the killer. However, the killer abducted Dr. Olga Vukavitch, not Lt. Frank Parker. Thus, Bradley's comment does not make sense.
8) The killer's hands are on Olga's face when he is sitting beside her in the cell. While the killer is conducting his work by making a threatening phone call to the Backstep staff, though, he is probing elsewhere. Then, it returns to his hands being on her face.
9) The wine on the cell area's concrete is not red, yet it was red wine.
10) A vast amount of water was apparently in the cup the killer was offering Dr. Olga Vukavitch, as confirmed by the water on the door behind. But that water vanishes from the door soon thereafter.
11) There are no gunshot wounds on the killer, and Lt. Frank Parker just got done shooting him.
12) Not truly a nitpick, but I found this entire episode imitating the movie Kiss the Girls.
